Attorney Angel Ballesteros aka Angel Ballesteros Jr. died at the age of 81 years old at his home surrounded by his loved ones. He left us holding the hand of his beloved wife of 45 years Lydia A. Ballesteros. He is survived by his daughter Jennifer Giardina and her husband Jesse with their children Maya and Cairo. He is also survived by his son Angel Ballesteros III with his wife Connie and their children Carmela, Paolo, and Carlo, his other son Fortunato Ballesteros and his wife Neomi, his sisters Basilisa and Sylvia, and his brother Fred with his Pina and his children, Arles, Edmond, Imelda, Dodgie, Filoche, Barbara, and Julius along with many nieces and nephews.
Angel was born and raised in Macabito, Calasio, Pangasinan in the Philippines. His parents were Angel Ballesteros Sr. and Margarita Montoya. He became an attorney and worked in the courts with Judge Jose Perano. Later he moved to the States and worked with Weil, Gotshal and Manges. Upon retiring he moved to California with his wife and lived next door to Elsa Montoya, the wife of his loving cousin Carlos Montoya and thier children, His son Roldan and his wife Rianne and daughter Eleanor, his daughters, Leilani, Rowena, Jennifer, and Vernaliza. His nephew Benigno, niece inlaw Jinky, and their children Joseph and Bianca.
Although Angel was known for his intelligence, he was also known for his ability to charm his way out of anything. He had a way of talking and listening to people that made them feel special and want to do things for him. His mischievous side was indeed something to behold but his loyalty to those he loved, held no bounds.
